Paul Ferraiolo

Paul Ferraiolo is a senior IT technologist and visionary with over 30 years’ experience in a wide variety of technical disciplines including cloud-based applications, healthcare, artificial intelligence, complex life-science data, semantic modeling, and database systems. Paul was the Chief Technology Officer at N-of-One, an industry leader in delivering high quality clinical content to molecular diagnostic labs and large healthcare provider groups. Paul implemented several major innovations in the management and delivery of complex life science content, thereby enabling N-of-One to achieve a unique B2B business model in the clinical genomics space. Previously, Paul was the CTO for the Proteome Division of Incyte Genomics where he was brought on by the Venture Capital firm of Boston Millennium Partners to upgrade the subscription-based product (BioKnowledge Library). In addition, Paul was the Director of Informatics in the Broad Institute’s Chemical Biology Program where he held a joint appointment at both Harvard and MIT. At the Broad, Paul was responsible for re-engineering the ChemBank project which is one of the world’s largest and most sophisticated public data-warehouses designed to support the analysis of complex chemical and biological data. Paul’s experience gives him a unique ability to navigate through complex environments and identify key leverage points with respect to team building, architecture and design, and project management. Paul is also comfortable in public speaking engagements and has been chief technical evangelist to a wide array of customers and end-users.
